Seaham's Boxing Day Dip cancelled on safety grounds

Seaham’s Boxing Day Dip has been cancelled at the 11th hour.

Safety concerns from the Coastguard is believed to be the reason why the event, which was due to take place at 11am on December 26, has been called off.

Organisers at East Durham Round Table are discussing the possibility of rescheduling the event for a later day.
