The couple had to make the devastating decision to terminate after learning their little boy had problems with his kidneys – and that his survival rate outside of the womb was slim.

4Louis was there to support Jayne and Dean after their baby arrived, gifting them with a memory box and providing use of a cuddle cot so they could spend some precious time with their boy.

“Without them, I would have totally crumbled,” Jayne said.

“It helped us have that little bit of comfort and it meant we could go home with something.”

Jayne’s fundraiser is taking place at the Clover and Wolf, South Shields, on Friday, January 24 from 7.30pm until 11.30pm.

This should have been baby Dean’s due date.
