Friends could hold the key to information about Sunderland man who died in care home
Friends of a man who died in a care home on Boxing Day have been urged to make contact with Sunderland’s coroner’s office.
After no information was passed on to help find members of his family, Sunderland’s coroner's officers hope a friend of Mr Emmerson will get in touch to help with ongoing inquiries relating to his passing.
Mr Emmerson was a resident of Barnes Court Care home in Wycliffe Road, High Barnes, where he had lived since January 2016.
It is believed the widower had a brother, sister and two children.
Sunderland coroner’s officer Neville Dixon has asked anyone with information to call him on (0191) 561 7842 or email details to him via [email protected].
