Emergency services called to collision involving cyclist on major Sunderland road
The emergency services have been called to a collision between a cyclist and a vehicle on one of Sunderland’s busiest roads.
The North East Ambulance Service said it was called to the A183 Chester Road at the junction of The Broadway and Springwell Road today, Tuesday, December 3, just before 2pm.
It dispatched a rapid response paramedic and took the man home after he was assessed.
A Northumbria Police spokesperson added the incident involved a car and the cyclist suffered no serious injuries.
