On Wednesday, January 29, it was announced that Charlotte had missed out on the jungle crown in Australia’s I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here after trials, wardrobe malfunctions and romance.

Before reaching the jungle, the ex-Geordie Shore star announced that she would be taking part in the show on her YouTube channel. In the video, Charlotte said: “It’s something, you know, I’ve always wanted to do. I mean the amount of times I’ve Photoshopped on my head on the line up of the English version, it’s untrue.”

On arrival, she had to bungee jump out of a helicopter but she didn’t manage to do it. She said: “I don't know how any of them have done that. You've literally got to have a death wish.” After claiming she’d wet herself, her decision meant that Charlotte had to walk for 5k to the jungle alone.

Since then, she has taken on an array of bushtucker trials to stay in the competition.

Over the series, Charlotte and fellow contestant, Married at First Sight’s Ryan Gallagher, have formed a romance with fans sharing the hashtag #Rylotte when referring to them. She had previously confessed to fancying Ryan and they have shared kisses in the jungle.

Ryan was eliminated on Tuesday, January 28, just one day before Charlotte, leaving his jungle lover heartbroken.

She said: “There’s a big hole in the camp and it’s Ryan shaped hole.”

Before she left the jungle, the camp-mates received calls from home and Charlotte got her message from fellow TV personality Sophie Kasaei.

Following the announcement of her departure, ImACelebrityAU tweeted: “Charlotte had SUCH a huge impact on camp this season. Thanks for bringing so much fun and love to the jungle. Cheerio Char!”

After her exit, she claimed that she thinks Miguel Maestre will win the crown.

Only four stars are now left in the jungle: Dale Thomas, Rhonda Burchmore, Miguel Maestre and Cosentino.
