Alan Cairns, of Canon Cockin Street, in Hendon, died in Sunderland Royal Hospital on Friday, June 5.

Sunderland’s Coroners Office is trying to find members of his family.

It is known Mr Cairns had worked as a plumber and his date of birth was September 23, 1934.
