Hundreds gathered in Keel Square to see the cast of Empire Theatre’s panto, Cinderella staring Gemma Naylor as the princess herself, and ITV’s Superstars finalist Jon Moses, who joined the city’s mayor, Councillor David Snowdon in pressing the button that lit up the city centre.
There was a variety of performances from Grangetown Primary School, Channy Thompson and Spark Drummers, alongside the panto cast, to entertain the crowd.
