Data released by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) on Friday, July 24, lists the total number of deaths per area for the Sunderland local authority, and shows which percentage of these are related to Covid-19.
According to the figures, there were 335 coronavirus deaths in the city between March 1, 2020 and June 30, 2020, out of 1,262 deaths recorded in total.
These are the ten areas of Sunderland which have seen the highest number of coronavirus-related deaths.
1. Hylton, Red House & Marley Pots
