DENTISTS keen to raise money for Grace House are cycling from coast to coast in a single day.
Partners from the Whickham Dental Practice are taking up the 138-mile challenge from Workington to Tynemouth on June 23 to raise money for the children’s hospice, being built in Southwick.
The three who will be in the saddle are Andrew Dixon, Ian Davidson and John Wykes.
Grace House, which covers an area from Berwick to Teesside, is raising funds to build and equip the first stand-alone children’s hospice in the North East.
It aims to support children with life-limiting illnesses as well as their families and is totally self-supporting.
A Just Giving page where people can donate money has been set up on the practice’s website www.whickhamdentalpractice.co.uk.
The page can also be viewed directly at www.justgiving.com/C2C-in-1-day.
