PASSENGERS are facing another day of problems on the Metro as trains remain off between Park Lane and South Hylton.

Metro announced this morning that a technical fault had knocked out trains between the city centre and South Hylton.

A replacement bus is calling at or close to stations in the affected area.

The failure is the latest in a number of incidents which have knocked out trains across the network, angering many passengers.
