Engineers from Northern Gas Networks (NGN) will begin the repair work in Tathan Street at 9.30am, and it is expected to take one week to complete.

Gas supply to customers will not be affected, but in order to carry out this essential project safely and efficiently, part of Tatham Street will be closed to traffic.

The road will be closed from the junction of Murton Street up to the junction of Borough Road for the duration of the works, and a fully signed diversion will be in place for motorists to follow.
