Ornament taken in burglary on Sunderland home

A statue of a dancer was taken in a break-in on a Sunderland house.

The burglary happened between 3.30pm on Monday, February 22, and 5.30pm on Monday, March 22, at Newburn Avenue, between Newcastle Road and Margaret Thompson Park in Southwick.Burglars stole an Nao Ornament - a dancer with a grey leotard and veil. Officers are carrying out inquiries into the burglary and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
