Derby Dogs: Your pictures of furry friends supporting SAFC

Have your say

Sunderland may be known as the Black Cats, but the club has its fair share of other four-legged friends too.

Ahead of the Tyne-Wear derby at St James's Park on Sunday, we asked you to share photographs of your very own "derby dogs".

You really delivered - and we've even met an SAFC superfan cat - but it isn't a black one (you can't have everything!)

We've had pooches celebrating passes, dogs donning strips and hounds who are more than happy to show their red and white colours for the team through barking!

So what do you think? Will SAFC make it seven in a row on Sunday? These amazing animals seem to think so.
