Nowhere to spend penny

So here we are 2016, in 21st-century Britain, and Sunderland's Central Railway Station still does not have a public toilet '“ in this day and age in a modern country like ours, the sixth or seventh richest country in the world.

What an utter disgrace, what a joke?

Sunderland wants to be the City of Culture – how about “Gormless Sunderland” for a title?

It would highlight the indifference and contempt shown to both residents and visitors in regard to calls of nature.

As Churchill might have said: “Never has such a basic facility been denied to so many, by so few, for so long.”
