TRAFFIC - update 10.10am

Cleared: Carriageway cleared on A1231 Sunderland Highway following crash on the approach to the A19.

Cleared: One lane was blocked due to stalled truck on A1 Western Bypass Southbound between the A692 Lobley Hill Road to Kingsway South (Coalhouse Roundabout).

The police coned off the lane whilst the tyre fitter replaced the blown tyre on the HGV.

Cleared: A stalled vehicle which was partially blocking the A19 southbound from the A1231 Sunderland Highway to the A183 Chester Road has been removed.
