A Nordic and nice boost for Tall Ships Sunderland poster campaign

What a cool set of photographs these are - and the good news is they're all promoting The Tall Ships Races.

Our thanks go to pals Fiona Taylor, Sara Jackson and Christine Whitehead who spread the word about next year’s Sunderland spectacle by heading for Iceland.

They had a wonderful time on their trip and also remembered to take the Wear On Board poster with them to Reykjavik.

In fact, they took a whole raft of posters with them and posed at numerous sights.

Fiona, the Advertisement Manager for Johnston Press North East, explained more and said: “We had a long weekend in Reykjavik for a 50th birthday.

“It is an amazing place with so much to see and do.

“The pictures show the Harbour, the Concert Hall and the Sun Voyager sculpture in the Harbour.

Our thanks go to Fiona, Sara and Christine for their excellent support and we hope even more people will help us get the message out about the international event which is coming to Wearside next year.

Next year’s Sunderland leg will be held from July 11 to 14 and we want the people of the North East to get involved.

How? By following these instructions.

3. Send that picture to us – with the tag ‘Wear On Board’ – so that we can publish it.

That way, we can tell the world that Sunderland is right behind the Tall Ships Races 2018.
