NETBALL players are trying to break a world record.
Twenty-two women from Durham University Netball Club are involved in the event.
They are trying to break the record for the world’s longest ever game.
They started at noon yesterday and aim to play until noon on Friday.
“We are under no illusions – it will be very difficult,” said coach Marie Ewing, 26, from Sunderland.
The club aims to raise £10,000, to be split between itself, Help for Heroes and Sport in Action Zambia.
