A DOORMAN has appeared in court accused of sending racy photos of his policewoman ex-girlfriend to her colleagues.
Darren Christian McGuinness is accused of harassing his former partner of nine years by texting three naked images to 14 of her Northumbria Police colleagues.
The 37-year-old, of Abercorn Road, Farringdon, is also accused of three charges – under the Malicious Communisations Act – of sending articles of an indecent or offensive nature.
McGuinness is also alleged to have emailed pictures of the constable, who he shared his Wearside home with, to neighbourhood beat manager Pc Craig Sherrif, as well as Pc Graham Wilkie and Kalem Robinson.
The offences are alleged to have happened on December 8 last year after the Wearside couple split up.
He strenuously denies the charges.
At a previous court appearance, McGuinness admitted assaulting his former partner in Sunderland on December 3, last year.
His new defence solicitor Charlie Carr said his client intended to apply to the court for leave to change his plea to not guilty.
Magistrates adjourned the case to March 18. McGuinness was given conditional bail, including not to contact prosecution witnesses or go to South Shields police station.
