Ribbon Academy Trust held a street party fit for a queen.
The pupils and staff had a great day celebrating the Queen’s 90th birthday and even had the queen in attendance (aka Mrs Gillian Devine, Reception class teaching assistant). At the end of the school day, the queen was transported by school tractor to the KS1 yard, where parents were waiting to collect the children. Miss Gent then played the national anthem on loud speaker, and everyone joined in singing to the queen. A fantastic day was had by staff and pupils.
