Macrae House runs the following activities:

Mondays: munchkins 9.30am-11.30am (a toddler and parent group). The third Monday of every month brings the Memory Cafe to the centre from 6pm- 9pm where carers can come together to socialise with others. Tuesdays: carpet bowls 1.30pm-3.30pm, everyone welcome, and 4.30pm- 8pm child and youth club (including events such a laser league and roller disco). Wednesdays: Men’s cree group from 10am-noon supporting isolated men within the community, all ages welcomed and from 10am-1pm there is a help with computers session and 6pm-8.30pm the jolly girls (a ladies’ group that play games, bingo and raffles). Thursdays: Various training sessions run throughout the day, information of said courses are posted on Facebook and on leaflets. The first Thursday of every month brings the Cold Hesledon Ladies to the centre from 6pm-9pm where entertainment, shared food tables, raffles and a get together take place. The last Thursday of the month its new event of a Girls Night In from 7pm-10pm. Fridays: Murton Mams from 10am- noon, creche available. Weekends are available for private functions upon request.

Beginners’ ballroom and Latin class starts tomorrow at The Glebe Centre from 8pm-9pm. Sessions cost £5. Contact Diane Daglish for further information on 07853064147.
