EASINGTON MP Grahame Morris has given his backing to a new health campaign.

The politician, who recently met a parent whose child’s heart condition went undiagnosed for more than two years, has pledged his support to a new drive which seeks to increase early diagnosis of heart conditions.

Congenital heart disease affects more than 5,000 children in the UK each year.

The Think HEART campaign, launched by the Children’s Heart Federation, aims to inform parents of the warning signs of a possible heart condition, giving them the confidence to raise concerns about their child’s health with their doctor or health professional.
