A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after being involved in a crash with a heavy goods vehicle in Durham.
Emergency services were called to the A167 Darlington Road at 9.17am this morning, following the collision between the Yamaha motorbike and HGV.
The road was blocked in both directions between the A690 Neville's Cross Bank junction and the Lowe's Barn Bank junction, but reopened two hours later.
A Durham Police spokeswoman said: "The male driver of the motorbike was taken to the RVI in Newcastle as a precaution, however, he is not thought to be seriously hurt."
