Motorcyclist, 18, airlifted to hospital with serious injuries following crash
Emergency services were called to Station Terrace in East Boldon following a collision between a car and an off road motorcycle on Tuesday, June 30.
The Great North Air Ambulance attended and the motorcyclist, an 18-year-old man, was airlifted to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle.

Hide AdNorthumbria Police is now appealing for anyone with any information or who may have witnessed the crash to contact police.
A force spokeswoman said: “At 2.50pm we received a report that a car and an off road motorcycle were in collision at Station Terrace, East Boldon.
“The driver of the motorcycle, an 18-year-old male, has been transported by Air Ambulance to the RVI suffering from serious injuries.
“Anyone with any information is asked to contact police online, quoting reference log 617 300620.”
