A 13-year-old girl who had been missing from home for two days has been found safe and well, police have revealed.
Northumbria Police appealed for help this morning to find Georgia Ferguson, who left her home in Blyth, Northumberland, at about 5.30pm on Friday.
She told her family she was staying with a friend, and hadn't been seen since. It was believed she could have travelled to the Newcastle area.
Just after 5.30pm today, police Tweeted: "Missing girl Georgia Ferguson has been found safe and well and is now home.
"Thank you to everyone for sharing and for your help to find her."
