Have your say

IF you’ve played through Hideo Kojima’s Metal Gear Solid masterpieces and now treat Snake as a close friend, this return to what proved to be the epic climax to the series in 2008 will once again give you everything you could wish for.

It is an adventure obsessed with detail, dialogue and the kind of delicious graphics that the PS3 had then been crying out to display in all its glory.

To reveal the story to newcomers would ruin the experience, but fans of the first release also won’t mind revelling once again in those big boss battles, even bigger, beautiful cut-scenes and the kind of gameplay twists and turns that you could never have predicted first time around.

Re-released in a special 25th Anniversary case, including a poster by renowned character artist Yoji Shinkawa, plus the recent trophy support update released earlier this year, this is an absolute must-have for MGS fan-boys.

And all for under 20 quid! Consider your stocking filled.
