TWO men arrested after a road crash which left a 60-year-old woman fighting for her life in hospital have been bailed by police.
The three-car smash happened on the A19 northbound just after the A179 slip road at 10.30am on Sunday.
A total of six people were taken to hospital.
They included the 60-year-old woman who was airlifted to James Cook University Hospital.
She remains in a critical but stable condition.
Police said two men arrested in connection with the incident have been bailed pending further inquiries.
An elderly man has been interviewed by police in relation to dangerous driving over another two-car collision that happened on the other side of the A19 at Sheraton just after 10am on Sunday, at Sheraton.
Two people were taken to hospital in that incident which is thought to have happened after one car tried to turn north.
