Man was drunk and disorderly at Debenhams in Sunderland

The following cases have been dealt with at Sunderland Magistrates' Court.

Christopher McCann, 44, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly at Debenhams in The Bridges, on March 8. He was discharged conditionally for six months and was told to pay a victim surcharge of £15 and costs of £35.

Daniel Ridsdale, 20, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to possession of cannabis at an address in Washington on February 2. He was given a conditional discharge for 12 months and was told to pay a victim surcharge of £15 and costs of £85.

Darren Taylor, 41, of Baxter Road, Sunderland, pleaded guilty to threatening unlawful violence on February 8. He was fined £80 and was told to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and costs of £85.

Stuart Heaton, 43, of Saint Luke’s Road, Sunderland, pleaded guilty to driving a Vauxhall Combo van in Hylton Road with 75 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath – the legal limit being 35. He was fined £120 and was told to pay victim surcharge of £20 and costs of £85. He was disqualified for holding or obtaining a driving licence for 22 months.

Peter Irwin, 46, of Shakespeare Street, Southwick, Sunderland, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly on Green Terrace, on February 28. He was given a conditional discharge for six months and was told to pay victim surcharge of £15 and costs of £85.

David Hawkes, 34, of Havelock Court, Ford Estate, Sunderland, pleaded guilty to wilfully obstructing a police officer on January 27. He was given a conditional discharge for six months and was told to pay victim surcharge of £15.

Stephanie Cowell, 36, of Azalea Terrace North, Sunderland, pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen of breath, when suspected of having been in charge of a vehicle on November 15, 2015. She was fined £90, with a victim surcharge of £20 and costs of £100. Her licence was endorsed with 10 points.
