Man taken to A&E after falling unwell at Sunderland's Park Lane Interchange

A man has been taken to South Tyneside A&E department after falling unwell at Sunderland’s Park Lane Interchange.

Paramedics were called to the transport interchange in Sunderand city centre at 12.17pm on Wednesday, January 15, after a man ‘fell unwell’.

A spokesman for North East Ambulance Service said: “At 12.17pm we were called to a patient unwell at Park Lane Interchange.

“We dispatched a double crewed ambulance.

“The male patient was taken to South Tyneside A&E department.”
