Man suffers broken jaw in Sunderland street assault

A man was taken to hospital with a fractured jaw after he was attacked by three men in a Sunderland street.

The assault happened between 11pm and 11.30pm on Sunday, November 8, when the 26-year-old victim was approached by three men.

He received hospital treatment for his injuries before being discharged.

Officers are carrying out enquiries into the incident and are appealing for any witnesses.
