Man dies at Sunderland house after emergency services alert

A man died at Sunderland house despite the efforts of the emergency services.

Northumbria Police and the North East Ambulance Service were called to Oxford Street, Pallion, following concerns for the 51-year-old.

A police spokesperson said: “Shortly before 11.30am December 27, emergency services responded to a report of an unresponsive man at an address on Oxford Street, Sunderland.

Paramedics attended however the 51-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

“It is believed there was no third party involvement and a report has been prepared for the coroner.”
