Man brought to safety from wrong side of Queen Alexandra Bridge in Sunderland
Emergency services brought a man to safety from the Queen Alexandra Bridge in Sunderland this morning.
Northumbria Police were called to the bridge at 6.45am after they received a report of a man on the wrong side of the railings.
Emergency services including Sunderland Coastguard attended the incident and the man is now safely back on the right side of the railings.
