Lloyd Webber honours heritage saviours

Have your say

HAVE you saved a listed building in the North East which was at risk or ruin?

If so, Andrew Lloyd Webber wants you to enter the 2012 English Heritage Awards.

He founded the annual competition last year to reward the efforts of people in saving their heritage.

He said: “The people responsible for securing our country’s treasures are at the heart of the Angel Awards, and our goal is to recognise their work.

“Now that the selection criteria have been widened to include Grade II listed buildings, I hope even more Heritage Angels will take part.
