No one needs reminding of the dreadful times we have had over the last few years, but hopefully better times are ahead.

We have had a decent start to the season and the two opening games have provided something which has been in short supply in recent times, goals, excitement and entertainment.

However, I would like to ask a question to any one of the thousands of “fans” who still stream out of the ground 10 to 15 minutes before the final whistle...Why?

It was heartwarming to be in the stadium at the end and witness the mutual appreciation of players and supporters in the minutes after the game.

It was Sunday afternoon and surely much less traffic around so that can’t be an excuse.

So, please let, me know what pitiful excuse you do have for walking out.
