A CITY law firm has been cleared of failing to stop airport bosses claiming millions of pounds in bonuses.

At the High Court yesterday, Mrs Justice Proudman ruled that Eversheds “acted in good faith” after the airport sued it for negligence in relation to contracts entered into with former chief executive John Parkin and former finance director Lars Friis in 2006.

They claimed bonuses totalling £8million six years ago.
