LITTLE legs had fun at football courses this half-term.
Sunderland AFC’s Foundation of Light held the kickabout sessions this week while kids were enjoying time off school.
Potential Premiership stars of the future pulled on their boots at the Stadium of Light, with Little Dribblers classes for tots aged three to five.
Disabled children aged five and up joined in the fun at Columbia Grange school in Washington.
The foundation also hosted courses at Goals Soccer Centre in Durham Road, with kids up to 14 years old taking part, and a girls-only session.
Children can learn new skills, tricks and techniques at the half-day sessions, which are led by professionally qualified coaches.
And they’ve proved a big hit with small people, as the February half-term break expects to see more than 300 youngsters take part in some sort of coaching programme.
As well as holiday courses, the charity also runs after-school, evening and weekend sessions for youngsters aged three years plus.
The foundation was set up in 2001 and works with more than 40,000 youngsters a year.
