Keep your dog on a lead

Can the person responsible for allowing their dog to dirty on my garden on Hylton Castle Estate please try putting a lead on the animal to stop it going on to people's property.

Also instead of leaving a doggy bag on my garden for me to use, maybe you could try cleaning the poo up yourself, which is very difficult I know, as it is always a platter of soft smelly poo, which makes me feel sick every time I have to clean it up.

This isn’t the first time it’s happened either, and I’m getting fed up with it.

I used to think it was a stray dog that’s been causing the problem for months now but, due to the doggy bag being left on Saturday, July 30, I now know it isn’t a stray dog.

I’m 78 years of age and I put a lot of time, money and hard work into keeping my garden nice, and I shouldn’t have to be cleaning up after your dog, so please be a responsible pet owner and keep your dog off my property.

I have asked for name and address not to be included in the print version of this letter, as you and your dog know it very well by now.
