Joe Weightman led the way with an excellent 52 not out before retiring. He was supported by Taylor Vout, who made 31, as Lyons reached 124-4 from their 20 overs.

Lyons’ bowlers limited City to 35 all out in their reply.

Luke Husband was the pick of the bowlers, taking three wickets for five runs. Wicketkeeper Joseph Holmes had a night to remember, taking five stumpings in the match.
