Junior cricket: Adam Khan's heroics in vain for Durham Under-17s
Durham Under-17s lost by three wickets to Derbyshire in their County Championship Cup group opener at Coal Aston.
Adam Khan hit four fours and two sixes in an impressive 82-ball knock of 59, while Sol Bell made 20 off 35 balls, as Durham were all out for 125 in 39.2 overs.
Derbyshire won in the 33rd over, reaching 129-7, despite a brilliant effort of 4-24 from Luke Donneathy, while Rory Hanley took 2-28. Usamah Khan top-scored with 30 for Derbyshire.
