Investigation after fire at Wearside garage
Fire broke out at a car repair garage.
It happened at BRG Accident Repair Specialists in Armstrong Industrial Estate last night.
Paints and solvents went up in flames in the incident.
Crews from Washington, Birtley and Hebburn fire stations rushed to the scene to put out the blaze, which is now under investigation.
No-one was hurt in the fire, which broke out at about 11pm.
