Investigating new nature sessions

YOUNGSTERS can explore the great outdoors during new sessions.

Murton One Point Children’s Centre will host Nature Detectives, teaching children about nature and environment while getting exercise. Sessions take place on Tuesday afternoons from 1.30pm to 2.30pm.

Sue Wear, One Point family worker, said: “We have lots of fun activities planned for these sessions, including bug hunting and pond dipping, making bird cakes and bug houses and visits to local nature reserves, woodlands and parks.”

For more information, call the centre on 517 5903, with places to be booked in advance.
