Inquest to be held over death of boy who fell from railway viaduct

AN inquest will today be held into the death of a schoolboy who died after falling from a railway via-

Orrin Walker, 16, who lived in Durham, was a sixth form student at Durham Johnston School in the city.

He died in the University Hospital of North Durham on Saturday, January 4, after falling 100ft from the bridge the evening before.

The hearing into his death will be held in Crook.

At the time, police confirmed there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.

Friends have since fund-raised in memory of Orrin.
