A LUCKY Wearsider is a millionaire – but doesn’t even know it.
Someone is sitting on a winning lottery ticket, bought in Sunderland, worth the magic £1million.
The National Lottery is how hunting for the holder of the jackpot ticket for the EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle, to hand over the life-changing prize.
The winning ticket, from the selection on Friday, April 20, was VLF874510.
The lucky ticket-holder has until 11pm on October 17 to make their claim.
For every EuroMillions line played, UK players automatically receive a EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle selection printed on their ticket.
A National Lottery spokesman said: “We’re desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings.
“This amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody’s life.
“Being able to guarantee two UK millionaires every week with Millionaire Raffle is fantastic.
“We’re urging everyone to check their old EuroMillions tickets again, or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding, so that this prize can turn someone into the newest member of the lottery millionaire club.
“Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa. We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win.”
The winning ticket was bought in the Sunderland area and players are being urged to double-check their tickets.
To jog EuroMillions players’ memories, SAFC drew nil-nil away at Aston Villa the following day.
If the prize remains unclaimed, the prize money and the interest it has generated will go to The National Lottery Good Causes.
