George Brady: Calm and composed in the centre of the Sunderland defence.....6

Michael Ledger: Similar to Brady, coped well with the pace of Adam Campbell. The striker got the better of them for the goal though.....6

Jason Denayer: Lively performance from the Belgian in the opening 45 minutes on his return from injury. Faded second half, shooting was poor.....6

George Honeyman: Busy and always wanted the ball. Curled one effort wide of the post. Struggled to get into the game second half......6

Rees Greenwood: Similar to Honeyman, saw an almost identical effort sail just wide of the post. Sunderland lost their rhythm second half......6
