The Hut at Moorsley is hosting a pamper day on Saturday from11am to 3pm, which will include free beauty therapy treatments, refreshments and activities. If anyone would like a timed ticket for their appointment at the event, call in at the Hut on Monday, Wednesday or Friday from 10am to noon. The event is in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. Moorsley’s annual fun day will be in celebration of the Queen’s 90th birthday and will be held on Saturday, July 2, from noon to 3pm. As it includes a free children’s tea party, it is important that tickets are obtained from the Hut at the times previously mentioned. (All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult). There will be a best crown or tiara competition and traditional games and side stalls including the very popular coconut shy. Entertainment will be provided by Tommy Bungle with his puppets and magic act and there will be a face-painter and children’s tombola, raffle and lots more. Refreshments will also be available on the day.

Tickets for the show are £3, available via Hetton School.
