The ladies from Hetton IM Church WA and Craft Club have once again done the church proud with all their work and contributions. The following has just been delivered for mission: Work 60 hygiene bags, 20 handbags containing six items each, seven baby blankets, 23 knitted teddies, 70 knitted vests, one black sack of towels, eight black sacks of clothes, one black sack of bedding, one black sack of shoes. Once again a big thank you to everyone who has made these items and for the donations which are all going to help those in need.

Eppleton Cricket Club Junior coaching continues this week. Sessions are held every Thursday at Church Road from 6pm until 8pm and all ages and abilities are welcome. The club is on the lookout for new under-11 players so anyone interested should contact junior chairman Paul Tipton at eppletoncc11@gmail.com for more information.

The Hetton Fellowship of Churches is hosting a Pentecost Prayer and Praise event at 7pm on Wednesday, May 11, at the Hetton Centre. The churches of Hetton and Easington Lane are coming together to pray for the area and invite everyone to attend. Prayer requests can also be left with any of the churches for the event.
