Help for life after cancer

Have your say

CANCER patients are being offered support as they near the end of their treatment, thanks to a team effort by health organisations.

The six-week programme has been developed with funding from Macmillan Cancer Support.

The course begins on Thursday, March 3, and is aimed at those who feel they are struggling with their lives, including getting back to work, managing changes to diet or coping with fatigue.

The programme will take place between 1pm and 3pm at St Cuthbert’s Hospice in Durham, which is running the project with the NHS, with anyone interested to call 333 2815 or 587 4500 or speak to their specialist nurse.
