Health workers treated like “pawns” by Government, says MP

WORKERS are being treated like “pawns” as the Government tries to privatise health services.

That was the view of Easington MP Grahame Morris, who staged a debate in the House of Commons.

He said that the Conservative-led Coalition Government is planning “the end of job security” by outsourcing services.

Speaking after the controversial Health and Social Care Bill was passed into law, Labour MP Mr Morris said: “Ordinary people oppose rapid upheaval and fundamental reforms.”
