HOUSEHOLDERS can help shape waste collection services by completing a short survey.
It is part of Sunderland City Council’s pledge to continue weekly household collections.
Anyone aged over 18 can take part, and people do not have to leave their names.
The survey can be found at www.explainresearch.co.uk/surveys/sunderlandsurvey/.
Councillor James Blackburn, cabinet member for city services, said: “Collecting household waste and recycling materials are key council services.
“Every week, more than 120,000 properties receive a collection service from the council.
“In addition to standard weekly green wheelie bin collections, there are fortnightly blue bin recycling collections and the popular brown bin collections for composting.
“The council is continuing with its weekly waste collections. What is going to help support the service is finding more about what people know about the service and what more we can do.”
