COMMUNITIES are being urged to have their say on housing plans.
Durham County Council is looking for people to join the board that will help shape the future of its social housing.
It follows the recent cabinet decision to develop a proposal to transfer the council’s 19,000 homes to a new management structure.
The proposal aims to hand over the houses to the three organisations which manage them, Durham City Homes, East Durham Homes and Dale and Valley Homes under a new parent body.
For more information and to apply to join the board, call 03000 261 864 or email email@example.com.
The closing date for applications is Friday, November 22.
