HERE are the first fabulous faces to enter our Stars of the Galleries campaign to find shoppers with bags of energy and bubbly personalities.

These youngsters are hoping to be picked to appear in the Washington shopping centre’s Christmas campaign, a competition open to people of all ages.

Staff from photographic shop Max Spielmann will be on hand in the Galleries’ Wessington Square tomorrow to take photos free of charge of shoppers who want to get involved.

They will be avaialable between 10am to 12.30pm, and 1pm to 4pm.

David McNee, centre manager of the Galleries, said: “We’re looking for passionate people to promote their local shopping centre.

“They will become the stars of our Christmas magazine which will be bursting with great gift ideas, the latest Christmas fashions, gadgets and this year’s top 10 toys.

“As well as this, our chosen stars will each win a £50 Galleries Giftcard.

“We’re looking for people with great personalities, who love being photographed and who love shopping at the Galleries.”

Linda Lowther, area manager for Max Spielmann, said: “Max Spielmann is delighted to get involved in the Stars of the Galleries campaign and hopefully we’ll photograph a winner tomorrow.

“As the only photography specialists at the Galleries, we think the search is a great idea.

“It’ll be an exciting opportunity for local people to star in advertising campaigns to promote the centre.”

Texts cost £1.50 plus standard network rate.
